International Day of Peace, September 21st Celebrate and support education by getting involved locally or remotely.

Peace comes through education. Children’s education is central to opening doors for children’s future, their families and their communities. Education promotes confidence, respect, independent thinking and problem solving. It increases political awareness and reduces the support of extreme militarism.

With the proper technology, school supplies and leadership, schools provide children of the future with a safe and positive environment to celebrate hard work and skill sets required to succeed and reduce poverty in their families, villages and districts.

Join us in celebrating education and peace here at home and abroad with these upcoming events. Engage in community conversations on gender equity, non – violence and organizing to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals on September 21st at the International Day of Peace Forum at the Posner Center.

Celebrate seven years of providing peaceful education for women with us at our annual event on September 29th. If you can’t make any of these gatherings, learn how to get involved here or participate in our annual event’s live/silent auction.
