  • Erin Subedi, Chair

    Erin Subedi’s passion for global education and exploration fueled her to found Edge of Seven in 2009. Over the past few years, she has served as the Executive Director and Board Chair for Edge of Seven. In addition, over the last decade, she has held eight different roles with EF Education, the world leader in international education, working in recruitment, sales, customer service, marketing, human resources, and business development. Erin has traveled to 30 countries on five continents and hopes to conquer all seven soon. She holds a B.S. from Cornell University and loves spending time with friends and family, particularly her daughters, in her free time.

  • David Durbin

    David has enjoyed a long and successful career in Senior Leadership with a fortune 600 company holding a number of positions, most recently driving the strategy for Customer Experience and Retention. David’s passion for supporting educational opportunities for women and girls is fueled by his two daughters; 26 year old Amanda and 10 year old Campbell. After spending much of the past 20 years driving business outcomes, David is very excited to bring his passion for creating truly unique customer experiences to Edge of Seven.

  • Darcy Struckhoff

    Darcy Struckhoff’s interest in human ecology and sustainable international development has led her all over the globe, including studies and work in Ecuador, Thailand, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Guatemala. It was her work in Guatemala with the students of Starfish One by One that catalyzed her passion for girl’s education. She is excited to further girl’s education globally with Edge of Seven and is thrilled to partner with such an intentional organization. Darcy is the Director of Development at the Colorado Outward Bound School. She is a graduate of El Pomar Foundation’s Nonprofit Fellowship program and previously served as the director of development for Starfish One by One. Darcy received her BA in Geography and International Studies from the University of Denver and speaks fluent Spanish.

  • David Koerner

    David Koerner is a marketing leader with a passion for travel and philanthropy. In high school he spent a summer circumnavigating Australia and quickly developed both a lifelong love of travel and a startling awareness of the many inequalities that exist for remote rural communities and people. Forty-three countries later, he continues to be inspired by long roadtrips and the outsize effect we each can have on the lives of others. He recognizes that it is awkward to write in the third person and looks forward to meeting you at the next Edge of Seven event, particularly if a passport stamp is involved.

  • Olga Sorensen

    Olga is experienced finance executive known for being strategically minded, driven by integrity, and a leader in business innovation. Her vision for life is to live life to the fullest by dedicating herself to commitment and challenges.

    A lifelong advocate for kids and educational opportunities, Olga is passionate about promoting intercultural dialogue and empowerment through educational resources and making a difference in people’s lives. She considers it a privilege to serve as a member of the Edge of Seven.

    Born in Ukraine and raised in Estonia, Olga received her undergraduate in International Business from Tallinn Technical University and BA from the University of Denver in Leadership and Organizational Studies. She also holds Executive MBA from the University of Denver.

  • Leah Hackler

    Leah is incredibly passionate about education and housing for girls and women.  Traveling internationally also consumes a lot of her passion and time. Her travels have taken her to over seventeen countries and three continents. She grew up in Eastern Kansas and attended the University of Kansas, studying Cultural Communications with an emphasis in international business. She believes educating herself and helping others to gain global perspectives of economics, education, culture and language is vital. Throughout her career she has worked for large, global organizations, primarily focused in information management. She currently works for EF Education First as a Regional Sales Director, helping US teachers open the world through education by providing travel experiences that teach global competence. Outside of EF, she enjoys hiking in the beautiful Colorado Rockies as well as road cycling, volunteering and taking her two miniature Dachshunds for long walks.

  • Rob Crum

    Rob is based in Denver, CO and has excelled during his 16 years in Business Development and Leadership roles at Iron Mountain, with a focus on information management and storage. He enjoys active time with his family, hiking and snowboarding in Breckenridge, CO. His family has a shared passion to gain exposure to global perspective and cultures and has had the good fortune to experience 5 continents and approximately 30 countries – and no plans to slow down! He is inspired by the people he has met overcoming developing world challenges and continually seeks to help eliminate barriers to education and basic needs fulfillment.
