JARANG PRIMARY SCHOOL |
| Village of Jarang, Nepal |
| Completed June 2010 |
In early 2010, Edge of Seven broke ground on a primary school building and water system in the village of Jarang, Nepal. In addition to bringing drinking water to the village, a school consisting of three classrooms, a teacher's office, a community room, and new toilets was completed in early 2011. Being that Jarang is a very remote village, accessible only by travelling for four hours on unstable dirt roads, there was no running water, electricity or machinery involved in the construction process. The school was built primarily with volunteer labor and assistance from villagers.
